Meet Ava Grace "Yi Yi"

It is with great excitement and praise to the Lord that we are able to show off our very first pictures of Ava.  Her given name by her orphanage in Shanghai is Fend Yizhen.  She is 15 months old.  My heart is incredibly happy and somewhat sad at the same time, as now we may have to wait 6 months for our travel approval.  Please pray for a speedy, process, and for this sweet girl to be loved and cared for until we can hold her in our arms!!

    Hooray!! And now will pray for expedited travel approval. The sooner she is a part of your family, the better, for her and for you. So excited for all of you.

    Our hearts are so filled with excitement. Seeing her beautiful eyes makes us more anxious to hold her close to us and love her forever. Although I do not look forward to a 2 week period of wait without Joey and Mandy here with us, we will survive knowing the outcome will be to have Ava with us sooner! You guys are constantly in our prayers and hearts. Our wait is almost over...

    I am so excited for you all. Adoption gives us a great picture of exactly what happens to us as we become a child of God. The hardest part is upon you and I will pray that God gives you strength for the coming days. That you get a quick travel date to go get your daughter!
